Former BBNaija contestant Pere Egbi steps into a gripping role in the upcoming feature film, ‘The Silent Intruder.’ The movie centers around a couple, portrayed by Uche Montana and Onyekachi Nnochiri, facing marital challenges due to sexual issues. As the wife seeks unconventional solutions, the situation escalates when the therapist, played by Egbi, becomes obsessed with her.
Egbi, who also serves as the executive producer, showcases a transformative performance in the film. The official trailer reveals his character’s evolution from calm and collected to a menacing figure. Principal photography for the movie was completed before Egbi’s participation in BBNaija: All Stars in July 2023.
Directed by Uyoyou Adia, the cast includes fellow BBNaija alumna Venita Akpofure, Lucy Francesca Ameh, Dotun Oloniyo, and Lydia Achebe. Produced by Mo Fakorede, known for her work in ‘Ada Omo Daddy,’ the film is described as a gift to the audience and is distributed by Film One Entertainment.
‘The Silent Intruder’ promises drama and thrills, drawing inspiration from a true-life story. Scheduled for a nationwide cinema release on February 9, 2024, just days before Valentine’s Day, the film offers a unique and suspenseful love tale for eager fans.
