Command Guest House Upgraded

The call for Nigerians to explore the hospitality and tourism sector to boost the country’s economy has started yielding dividends with the upgrading and overhauling of the facilities for effective service delivery at Kaduna Command Guest House.
Disclosing this to newsmen recently in Kaduna, the Managing Director of the re-positioned Command Guest House, Chief Sunny Arusuraire stated that since his organization took over the management of the Guest House about a year ago, it has invested in providing state-of-the art facilities to meet the customers’ satisfaction in affordable accommodation of various standards such as presidential, diplomatic, villa, royal suites and standards rooms; 24 hours security surveillance and armed personnel on duty.
Other facilities according to him include wireless internet facility; swimming pool/tennis court; well-equipped and spacious banquet hall/conference rooms; 24 hours power supply; regular car hire services; barbeque & sharwama; restaurant for local and international dishes; bar, garden bar, night club/live band; well trained staff among others.
The Managing Director expressed satisfaction that the lost glory of the Guest House has been restored and it is now a befitting home away from the home of all its esteemed guests.
“The Command Guest House Kaduna used to be a must stay for most visitors to Kaduna and its environs in the 1990s in particular because of its uncommon beauty and unparallel hospitality. Over time, the fortunes and glory of the Guest House dwindled that a strong Management intervention was needed”, Chief Arusuraire stated.
Chief Arusuraire remarked that the Army Authorities entered into contract agreement with his company, A.I.A International Ltd for the management of the Guest House and assured that his company has utilized its vast expertise in hospitality management to keeping the terms of the agreement which has brought momentum in the running of the Guest House.
The Command Guest House Boss further stated that the repositioning of the Guest House would complement the current investment drive of the Kaduna State Government because it would provide suitable accommodation for the investors and business people coming to Kaduna state and its environs for business.
He urged the Federal Government to create enabling environment and policies for entrepreneurs to invest in hospitality industry to create employment opportunities; generate revenue for the government; empower the citizens and support private entrepreneurs who are on tour for businesses.
“There are great potentials that need to be tapped in Nigeria’s hospitality industry.
Investing in this industry is part of the economic diversification strategy Nigeria needs now that we no longer want to over depend on weak, unreliable and dwindling oil economy”, he emphasized
