Katsina Television Launches Satellite Broadcasting

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has praised Katsina State Television (KTTV) commencement of satellite broadcasting, to enable viewers across the globe to access the station’s programming from the comfort of their homes.

The Governor described this development as part of the administration’s strategic vision to elevate the state’s media establishments to global standards of excellence.

“This transition to satellite broadcasting is a quantum leap for our beloved state’s media landscape,” Governor Radda remarked.

The Governor added, “By extending KTTV’s reach beyond our geographical boundaries, we are not only showcasing the rich cultural heritage, investment opportunities, tourism and developmental strides of Katsina State to the world but also creating a vital connection between our diaspora communities and their homeland.”

“The satellite launch fulfills our media transformation agenda, which aims to modernize operations, enhance content quality, and expand accessibility of state-owned media outlets,” Governor Radda stressed.

Technical partners involved in the project confirmed that viewers worldwide can now access KTTV programming through NigComSat Frequency 12518, Symbol Rate 29500 and Polarization H.
