Police detain Abia pastor following woman’s demise in hotel.

Pastor Timothy Otu from Agape Evangelical Ministry in Obingwa, Abia State, has been detained by the state’s police following the mysterious death of a 43-year-old woman, Happiness Echieze, in a hotel room. The incident was reported by the hotel’s resident, Mr. Godwin Akpan, who discovered Ms. Echieze’s lifeless and unclothed body with a white substance coming from her mouth and nose, shortly after the two had checked in. Notably, Pastor Otu was nowhere to be found at the scene. The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the arrest and mentioned that the case is now under the purview of the State Criminal Investigation Department. The deceased’s body is currently at the SDA Mortuary in Aba for post-mortem examination.
